How Batch Selling Works

Batch selling lets you sell a large quantity of an item in smaller, manageable groups (or 'batches'). This is ideal for products sold in bulk, like cases of drinks, boxes of produce, or crates of materials.

Here's an example: You want to sell 50 cases of milk, with 6 bottles in each case.

Here’s how you would fill out the form:

Starting Price: $2.00
Unit: "per bottle"
Units per Batch: "6 bottles"
Amount of Batches: 50
Min Batch per Bid: If you want buyers to bid on at least 10 cases, you'd enter 10.

Result: You are selling 50 cases of milk. The price is set per bottle ($2), so the starting price for one case (batch) is automatically calculated as $12.00 ($2/bottle × 6 bottles). Buyers must bid on a minimum of 10 cases.
